In 1995 seven golfing friends stood on a windswept hillside in Laguna to share a vision. Spread out before us in our imagination was our dream club: a championship 18 hole golf course, a few houses and an elegant yet understated clubhouse. We saw great possibilities in the land of scrub pasture and marginal sugarlands. Its rolling hills criss-crossed by deep ravines would be a perfect canvas for a great architect.

Today, that vision has become a reality. Legendary golfer and acclaimed Tom Weiskopf, was invited to design our golf course. Weiskopf's designs have almost overshadowed his great accomplishments as golfer. Troon North, TCP Scottsdale, Loch Lomond are but a few.

When we first met with Tom on the site, he immediately saw how the routing plan would take advantage of natural flow of the land. But it was not until construction began in April 1996 that we were able to see the full extent of his architectural brilliance.

A small, relaxed clubhouse across the lake from our finishing hole serves our members and their guests. The ambience is relaxed and perfectly in line with our vision. The only rules that apply are the Rule of Golf and the unspoken rules of gentlemen.
